Hi, I'm Ana Larissa, the founder of Rapunzel Afro Hair. I've been doing hair since 2018 and every year I fall more in love with this craft.

In 2022 I moved to Australia and brought my passion with me. I work from my home studio in Waverton — a comfortable, private space, just you and me. Every session is personal, every set of braids is made to make you feel like the crown you are.

Booking Information

How to schedule
  • Check my available dates and pick a time that works for you
  • Your booking is only confirmed after the 50% deposit is paid
  • Forward your proof of payment and I'll lock in your spot
  • Hair must be at least 4 fingers long
  • Select your preferred colour when confirming
Getting your hair ready
  • Arrive with hair washed, detangled and brushed out. Blow-out costs $30
  • No heavy products — no oils, creams or gels
  • Want to change colour or style? Let me know at least 1 day before
  • Not happy? Reach out within 24 hours and I'll make it right
Cancellation & rescheduling
  • You can reschedule once using your deposit. After that it's forfeited
  • Changes need at least 2 days notice
  • Less than 2 days: $25 rescheduling fee
  • No-shows and cancellations: deposit not refunded
Late arrivals & extra fees
  • Message me if you're running behind
  • 15 minute grace period. After that: $30 late fee
  • 1 hour+ late may result in cancellation with no refund
  • Sessions past 6pm: $10/hr surcharge
  • Blow-out: $30 straight / $50 tangled
What to bring
  • Food, snacks and drinks — sessions take hours
  • Comfortable clothing
  • Headphones, a book, entertainment
  • Reference photos of your style
